Presented by Ms. Lee Davis, Clemson University's  Graduate Coordinator for ICAR

The workplace is where employees spend a majority of their time each day.  While accomplishing the day-to-day tasks impacts the bottom line, so does the employee who feels a sense of isolation or not belonging.  This workshop will explore steps to developing a strategic plan designed to promote a diverse and inclusive work community.

Program Objectives:

  • Examining examples of missions, visions and objectives, participants will be able to build a diverse workforce that reflects all sectors of society.
  •  Utilizing a variety of techniques, participants will be able to create a collaborative and inclusive work environment that leverages talent while empowering all stakeholders.
  •  Writing and brainstorming, participants will create a diversity action plan of inclusion.
