Communicating in the workplace has never been more convenient or more complicated. As training professionals, you communicate daily with your clients, managers, colleagues, and training participants, as well as with vendors, suppliers, and contractors either face-to-face or by phone, voicemail, email, texts, social media, websites, webinars, or conference calls. With all the options available to us today, the most successful training professionals understand that these options are not a “one size fits all” solution. In this interactive, 4-hr workshop, participants will identify effective and ineffective ways in using each of these tools and, through a small group activity, will share their opinions, too. Also included is a primer on writing more concisely that will better equip the participants in writing for a 140-character world whether through Twitter, text messages, or just shorter attention spans!
