Remember the days of data processing, computer programming, and massive stacks of printouts????

Thankfully, those days are behind us and in its place are microcomputer organizations, networked information systems, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and data warehousing.

If these concepts baffle while intriguing you at the same time, if you recognize that your organization needs to know more about these topics, if your organization is involved in health information systems, financial information systems, and business administration systems (and let's face it, who isn't involved with these information systems?) ...

Then you need to know more about INFORMATICS!

And your Upstate SC ASTD Chapter is proud to provide you with access to the specialists and to help you learn about degree opportunities provided by the Department of Informatics through USC Upstate in Spartanburg and in Greenville.

USC Upstate's Department of Informatics offers Bachelor of Arts degrees and Master of Science degrees in Informatics. These condensed, online, self-paced programs are supported through interactions with locally based faculty who work with students face-to-face and through technologically driven communications.

Please join us the evening of February 27, 2014 to learn more about these amazing opportunities. Dr. Ron Fulbright, Chair of the USC Upstate Informatics Department, presents INFORMATICS to the rescue!
