Gender Rich Workforce Development
What this means in today's workforce and how you go about it successfully in 2014 and beyond.
January 23, 2014 - 5:30 pm, University Center Auditorium, meet Mr. Gene Gallivan and learn from his experiences as a Leadership Coach specifically developing female leadership within all organizations.
Women may represent nearly 50% of the workforce, but the number of women at the top of our major corporations remains remarkably low. In 2010, women held less than 15% of officer level roles within the Fortune 500, only 7.6% of the top earner spots and 1.6% of CEO spots. Yet research shows that companies with a greater balance of women in leadership roles tend to perform better, that women on average do better than men in school and that women start out strong in their early careers … So what’s the deal?
Leadership coach, Gene Gallivan offers a fresh look at development strategies focused upon developing successful female leaders in today’s complex organizations.
This program and all chapter programs focus on the National ASTD Competency Model.
